Ambassador Albert Ramchand Ramdin is a Surinamese diplomat who served for 10 years as the Assistant Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS), the premier regional forum for multilateral decision-making in the Western Hemisphere. Albert has over 20 years of experience in international negotiation, multilateral diplomacy, development assistance, public policy development and execution, strategic trade and business facilitation, project management, fundraising and key expertise in competitiveness. He has worked on institutional reform and restructuring in government and the private sector. He has served in various roles at the Organization of American States, the Caribbean Community and the Government of Suriname.
